here’s to you, june ‘one-two
thankful for
-repeat buttons (play that one more time ye guitars dripping with distortion, all ye catchy hooks and insistent banging drums; earnest voices sing once more)
-sixth college and its patient residents (we’ll never stop yelling till we move out, sorry)
-Patrick Watson’s beautiful concert, a feast for the eyes and the ears—no, feast sounds too decadent and rich; it was more like stripped down but layered lullabies from a loved one or true words from a friend (awe-full in all its implications, but all in honesty and good intent), warm like campfires and glowing with the golden light of incandescent bulbs
-comfort-driven dressing (effortless in the truest sense)
-the opportunity for new friendships and understanding over cloud 8.2 food
-graciousness
-listening ears
-the far and in-between places to be honest when these days feel composed of stifled breaths. they are good reminders of how relationships are meant to be
-the dundies (!)
